Community News Bulletin

                              FROM LEA'S DESK

A SUNNY HELLO TO OUR RESIDENTS

The monsoon may take Arizona by storm, but with all we have to offer our residents, it's our community that steals the thunder. We take comfort and service to a new level. Have you just moved in? The weather may be unpredictable, but we can forecast your friendly staff and neighbors will make you feel right at home. Have a terrific August!

                                           HAVEN FROM THE STORM

Your apartment is more than a roof over your head and a haven from the storm. It's your home-----that comfy, cozy place where you belong. We hope you'll continue to live here for some time to come. If your lease is up for renewal, simply call or stop by the office today and renew your lease.

                                               POWER OUTAGE TIPS

In a power outage: turn off electrical appliances ( stove burners, toaster oven, irons, blow dryers, etc) Unplug sensitive electric equipment ( computers, TV, etc) keep the refrigerator, and freezer closed to keep food cold. Use a flashlight, not a candle, for emergency lighting, leave one light on so you will know when the power returns.

                                                   AIRING IT OUT

Moisture form the shower and bath can damage walls, ceilings, floors, and tiles and promote the growth of mold and mildew. To help prevent this: place the shower curtain inside the tub while showering: keep the ventilation fan on during a shower and for at lease 15 minutes after: regularly clean the shower and tub with a soft scrub cleaner.

                                           WET WEATHER WATCH

The weather is unpredictable during the monsoon, so at the first sign of a storm go indoors. Lightning can strike as far as 10 miles from where it is raining. To reduce your chance of being struck by lighting, avoid wide-open areas, do not stand by trees or tall poles, and stay away from swimming pools and lakes. It pays to play it safe during storms.
